How the credits work
Higgsfield uses credits as a unit of generation cost. The price varies by model and settings, including resolution and clip length, and it is displayed before generation. A video that needs several retries may consume more credits than its first render.
Unlimited has boundaries
Higgsfield has offered unlimited windows and trial promotions for specific models and limited periods. Earlier free trials advertised in July 2026 were time-limited. A past promotion should not be mistaken for an offer still active today.
Where you run the model matters
In its September 2026 explanation, Higgsfield said some unlimited benefits applied on its main website while MCP, CLI and other automation surfaces could still consume regular credits. Users automating production through assistants should verify the terms for their exact account and workflow.
When trials help
A trial can be useful for evaluating a model, experimenting with short clips and learning the interface. A daily production pipeline may require many attempts, longer videos, audio and editing. Generation speed, concurrency and permitted models all affect the final cost.
